Princes Lodge Motel - Budget Double

Such a nice hotel, beautiful building, clean, tidy, helpful staff and very cheap for what it is Positive: Very nice, helpful and accommodating staff

Huge bargain, amazing location Positive: The location is outstanding. It’s a really nice big old house with nice original features. It’s a little tired around the edges but nothing bad at all. We had a double room with private external bathroom and this is totally fine - you just use your room key for your bathroom. Amazingly a nice basic breakfast is provided which we really appreciated. 5 mins round to O’Connell Street which had some great looking places and 20 mins and you’re at the Botanical Gardens/Adelaide University area. Really great. Would stay again Negative: The room was a little cold when we arrived (everywhere has been, maybe because we’re travelling in winter. No room heating very common) and the heater was noisy. But a lovely big blanket was in the wardrobe so we were fine. Some of the soft furnishings need replaced but ultimately everything was clean and comfortable.
